Geschiedenis alcoholvrij bier
Alcoholvrij bier ontstond in de islamitische landen voor het eerst in grote hoeveelheden. Dit was in het eind van de 20e eeuw. In Nederland ging het iets anders en duurde het allemaal iets langer. Het merk Bavaria kwam als eerste met een alcoholvrij biertje. Dit was in 2010 nog, het eerst Bavaria 0.0% biertje. De populariteit nam geleidelijk toe in Nederland en een jaar later al, in begin 2011, kwam Bavaria met het volgende 0.0 biertje, de Bavaria Rosé.
Hoe wordt alcoholvrij bier gemaakt?
Het brouwen van alcoholvrije biertjes is gefocust op het zo min mogelijk alcohol laten ontwikkelen. De brouwers laten het gist opkomen en zodra de gistcel alcohol wil gaan vormen, sluiten ze het proces af. Bavaria 0.0 en Grolsch 0.0 worden op deze manier gemaakt.
Je kan biertjes ook destilleren. Dat is wanneer er in eerste instantie bij het brouwen wel alcohol in het biertje zit. Daarna wordt door het destilleren de alcohol weer uit het bier gehaald. Buitenlandse en Nederlandse brouwers
